BEGINNERS WELCOME — IF YOU’RE HERE TO LEARN
Never held a handgun? That’s fine. We’ll teach you from the ground up. You’ll learn safety, grip, stance, trigger control, everything. You don’t need experience, you need willingness.
But if you’re just looking for the fastest, cheapest certificate in town then we’re not it.
We take the time to make sure you actually understand what you’re doing before you carry a firearm in public. That’s the standard. If that’s what you want, keep reading.
WHY WE’RE DIFFERENT
Real content, not filler. We cover what other courses skip. Things like actionable conflict de-escalation techniques, managing unknown contacts, the hard truth about use of force and what happens after you pull the trigger. Not just “know the law,” but how to apply it.
Holster work that matters. You carry concealed, so you’ll train concealed. Draw from concealment, presentation, reholstering safely. Most courses hand you a certificate without you ever touching your holster. We don’t.
More rounds, more reps. Extended range time on a private outdoor range. Multiple targets, realistic distances, free-form practice. No crowded indoor lanes, no rush. You’ll actually shoot, not just qualify.
THE COURSE | $247
Day 1 — Classroom | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Brighton • Firearm safety & handling • Colorado & federal firearms law • Use of force & self-defense (the real version) • Conflict de-escalation • Basic holster fitting and presentation • Written exam
Day 2 — Range | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Private Outdoor Range • Fundamentals: grip, stance, trigger control • Draw from concealment • Malfunction clearance • Multiple target engagement • Live-fire qualification
8 hours total. HB24-1174 compliant. Certificate valid for Colorado CHP application.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE CLASSROOM
• Valid Colorado ID
• Your UNLOADED handgun
• Your holster
• NO LIVE AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM
WHAT TO BRING TO RANGE DAY
• Your handgun
• 200 rounds factory ammunition (we’ll likely use less — you’re welcome to shoot more)
• Eye & ear protection
• Holster (IWB preferred; OWB fine if you don’t have one yet)
• At least 2 magazines (mag pouches are preferred but not required)
• Valid Colorado ID
• Food, drink
